Service availability in specific areas may vary based on truck availability and conditions. We reserve the right to decline service in areas outside our service zone or in circumstances where service cannot be safely or appropriately performed.
Dispatch and Response
We make every reasonable effort to dispatch to your location as promptly as possible and to honor ETAs communicated at the time of booking. In the event of unforeseen circumstances — such as severe weather, hurricane conditions, traffic incidents, road closures, snowbird season congestion, or unusually high call volume — we will notify you as soon as possible and provide an updated ETA.
3. Quotes and Pricing
Quotes provided by Sunny's Boy Towing are estimates based on the information you provide (service type, vehicle type, location, and tow destination). Tows start at $100 for local service. Final pricing may vary if additional circumstances are discovered upon arrival — such as vehicle positioning requiring special equipment, additional mileage beyond the quoted distance, or conditions that require non-standard recovery procedures.
We will inform you of any price changes before performing the work. You are under no obligation to proceed if pricing changes are unacceptable to you. Upfront pricing is confirmed before we hook up or begin any service — no hidden fees, ever.
10% Discount Program: Sunny's Boy Towing offers a 10% discount on standard service rates to verified active-duty military, veterans, seniors (age 65+), and seasonal Florida visitors ("vacationers"). Eligibility must be communicated at the time of service request and may require reasonable verification (military/veteran ID, valid ID for senior age, or visitor confirmation). The discount applies to standard tow and roadside service rates and is not combinable with other promotional offers unless explicitly stated.
4. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a safe and successful service call, customers agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your location, vehicle (year, make, model, drivetrain type), and the nature of the issue
- Remain with or accessible at the vehicle location until our driver arrives, or notify us if you must leave
- Ensure the vehicle is accessible and that our driver can safely approach the service location
- Follow all safety instructions provided by our driver, including staying clear of traffic on interstate or highway shoulders
- Notify us promptly if you need to cancel or if conditions at your location change before our arrival
- Provide accurate tow destination information, including shop name and address
- Disclose whether your vehicle is AWD, 4WD, EV, or has low ground clearance so we can dispatch the appropriate equipment
Sunny's Boy Towing is not responsible for delays or complications arising from inaccurate location or vehicle information provided by the customer.
5. Vehicle Condition and Release
By requesting towing or recovery service, you represent that you are the owner of the vehicle or are authorized by the owner to arrange for towing. You agree that Sunny's Boy Towing may move the vehicle to the destination you specify.
We take reasonable care in loading, transporting, and unloading your vehicle. However, Sunny's Boy Towing is not responsible for pre-existing damage or mechanical conditions present before the tow. Our drivers will note any visible pre-existing damage before loading.
For flatbed towing, customers acknowledge that AWD, 4WD, EV, motorcycles, and low-clearance vehicles must be transported on a flatbed to avoid drivetrain or undercarriage damage, and agree to disclose their vehicle's drivetrain configuration when requesting service.
6. Accident Recovery & Specialized Recovery
For accident recovery, winch-out, and specialized recovery services, additional terms apply:
- For accident scenes, we work in coordination with law enforcement, emergency responders, and insurance representatives present on scene; their instructions and clearance may take precedence over customer requests
- For severely damaged or inoperable vehicles, additional equipment, time, or recovery procedures may be required, which can affect the final price; we will communicate any cost changes before proceeding
- Winch-out recovery from sand, ditches, flooded roads, or rough terrain may require specialized equipment and approach; we will assess the situation upon arrival and confirm the service approach before beginning
- Customers should remove all visible personal belongings from a recovered or accident-involved vehicle when possible; Sunny's Boy Towing is not responsible for items left in vehicles during recovery or after delivery
- Recovery of vehicles from locations requiring extended time, multiple trucks, or specialized rigging may be subject to additional charges, which will be quoted before work begins
7. Private Property Towing
Sunny's Boy Towing performs authorized private property impounds for HOAs, apartment complexes, businesses, and private lot owners in compliance with Florida Statute § 715.07 ("Vehicles or vessels parked on private property; towing") and all applicable county and municipal ordinances. Property owners and their authorized agents agree to the following:
- Proper signage: The property must display conspicuous notice of parking restrictions and towing enforcement as required by Florida law, including the towing company name and phone number, prior to any tow being performed
- Authorization: Tows must be specifically authorized in writing by the property owner or a designated agent; we do not perform "patrol" or "spotter" tows without explicit per-vehicle authorization unless covered by a written enforcement agreement
- Vehicle owner notification: We notify local law enforcement of every private property impound as required by Florida law, providing vehicle information and the storage location promptly after the tow
- Fee schedule: Maximum non-consensual towing and storage fees are subject to applicable Florida and county fee schedules. Vehicle owners may recover their vehicle 24 hours a day upon presentation of valid ID, proof of ownership or authority, and payment of all applicable fees
- Vehicle release: We maintain records of every private property tow and make recovered vehicles available to owners in accordance with Florida law
Vehicle owners who believe their vehicle was improperly towed from private property have rights under Florida law to dispute the tow. Please contact us at (941) 807-2904 to begin the recovery process or to address any concerns about a private property impound.
8. Payment
Payment for services is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept major forms of payment as communicated by our dispatch team at time of service. Pricing is confirmed upfront before work begins. Invoices for completed service are available upon request.
In the event of a disputed charge, please contact us directly at (941) 807-2904 within a reasonable time frame and we will work to resolve the issue promptly.
9. Limitation of Liability
Sunny's Boy Towing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the services provided or the use of this website, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of revenue, or damage to property not directly caused by our negligence.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of services performed shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
